Cinnamon is in good health and back on her feet, running around and playing with her babies now.

We found homes for 3 of her puppies. Rest of her pups are being fed, vaccinated and regularly dewormed.

When we rescued Cinnamon she was at the brink of death. She was unconscious for the first 3 days post her rescue and needed intensive care. Her mammary tumour and septic uterus had to be surgically removed if she was to survive but this was not possible till her haemoglobin levels stabilised. So Cinnamon spent about a month at Happy Paws Medical Boarding under intensive care and supervision till she was strong enough for surgery. Thereafter her 2 surgeries were successfully conducted and our girl has made a remarkable recovery.

Cinnamon on a way to one of her vet visits.

Cinnamon now requires 10 days at the boarding following which she can go back to her home outside Ashoka and be reunited with her puppies. We are ecstatic and so happy for her! Meanwhile, we have hand-raised her puppies who have grown into beautiful indie pups, always ready for cuddles and demanding food. Unfortunately the puppies developed Mange which we have been treating on the spot and they are also recovering well. We are working hard on the adoptions of these pups and one of them - Luna went to her forever home in Delhi 10 days ago.

Cinnamon's puppies enjoying a meal!

We are eternally grateful to all of you donors, without whom Cinnamon would not have made it. We cannot express how much gratitude we fell. Your help got Cinnamon back on her 4 paws and gave her puppies a chance at life.

Cinnamon was taken for a follow up vet visit where we found that her stitches had a minor infection. Her stitches have been redone and she now requires a final 2 weeks of care at the boarding before she can go home to her babies! We are glad to see her progress but this means boarding cost for 2 more weeks!

In addition, her pups have developed mange and are very sick. We are getting them treated but it is expensive. We would really appreciate your support friends <3
