Dear Donors,

Greetings to each of you lovely people. Our shelter, which is in partnership with Rajputana Sanctuary, currently is overflowing with pups. Sweet adorable pups. We have made number of appeals and daily postings for these pups in social media. But so far only one has got adopted.

Then last week our water tank in the shelter broke and it needs repair. These kind of issues keep happening and also need to be accounted for.
During lockdown months up until September 2020 infact, we were feeding over 1000 street dogs and were deemed an essential service provider.

We continue to feed over 500 dogs, one of our rescuer counted about 650 street dogs, at the moment, majority of whom do not have any other source of food except what we provide them. We have two vehicles running currently for 10-12 hours each providing this food to feeders and directly feeding it.
We continue to need your support and are thankful for it.

Team Dogs Need Help Rescue, A Janm Foundation Initiative 

Dear Donors,

We are currently in the midst of a chilly North Indian winter where there are sharp drops in temperatures at night. Since puppies are unable to regulate their temperatures, we have tried to make shelters for street pups with the hope that some will survive these chilly two months of Dec and Jan.

We have come up with a strategy that has worked in the past wherein we put hot water bottles wrapped in cloth in the shelter under the matt/blankets laid in the shelter. Pups then have a covered space with "heating" to sit in and help be protected from sharp temperature drops.
We are not very good at taking pictures of our work but here are some raw pics from two of the shelters made on the roadside.

We are currently feeding over 500 street dogs and also running a shelter of 40 dogs in partnership with another charity Rajputana Sanctuary. We seek your support on a continued basis and are grateful for all that you have done for us so far.

Dear Donors,

Under our Dogs Need Help Rescue Initiative, we are currently feeding close to 500 street dogs daily in different parts of Gurgaon and on location in Dwarka, Delhi. We are also attending to their medical needs, alongside sterilising & vaccinating of street dogs. There is always a monthly shortfall of funds. Therefore, starting Dec 1, we are planning to start a cooked dog food service wherein, we can provide freshly cooked dog food to any part of Gurgaon for a very low donation of Rs. 185 per bucket. Each bucket can feed upto 25 dogs.
We will cook rice with chicken/meat waste picked up from slaughter houses. This meat would have otherwise been dumped into our water bodies and drains.
We are against any animal suffering and therefore we cannot order for any slaughter for our or our animals' needs. And therefore, we decided to opt for leftovers from slaughterhouses instead as dogs still need their protein.
