I am Radhika, a fellow at Milaap. I spoke to Mrs. Saswati Chatterjee. Here is an update on her husband, Mr. Sajanitosh Chatterjee.
She informed me that after August 2016, Mr. Chatterjee has not undergone anymore Chemotherapy sessions because his physical condition did not allow him to. Post August, he has visited the hospital for platelets infusion. He has had two infusions by now and is slowly gaining strength.
She sincerely thanked all the donors. Other than Milaap, they mobilized funds from Mr. Chatterjee’s ex colleagues. The money they received under the medical scheme for retired employees got exhausted. However, the medical cover will be renewed by the end of March.
The champion, Mrs. Saswati Chatterjee, has requested for the campaign to be ended.
