Dear Supporters,

With a heavy heart,  I am sharing the last update here. Supriya is no more.

She was fine till a couple of days ago after completing the second cycle of chemo. But suddenly she was caught up with high fever. Doctors diagnosed bacterial infection which led to Sepsis and then to Septic shock. Her condition deteriorated quickly and she passed away.

Thank you all for all your support, prayers and blessings. It meant a lot to me and my family. May she rest in peace.

Dear Supporters,

Supriya's 2nd round of consolidation has been completed. And the third & final chemotherapy will start by the 2nd week of April 2019. As per doctor's advise, we will be taking her mother's HLA report for BMT.

Thank you for your  wonderful support and prayers which make her strong.  Please do continue to pray for her health and recovery.

May god bless all!

Dear Supporters,

Supriya’s first round of consolidation chemotherapy has gone well and she is recovering. Doctors say she is in complete remission with measurable residual disease of only 0.1% which is a good sign. Second and third round of consolidation chemotherapy will be carried out in the second week of March and second week of April 2019 respectively.

Bone marrow test (HLA) of two of her siblings is now out. There is only 10% match with her brother and 50% match with her sister. Doctors say her brother is ruled out and even her sister will be considered only if BMT is essential and there is no other option. The other option is to scout for external donors which will skyrocket the cost of treatment. So the current plan is to stop chemotherapy after 2 more rounds of consolidation and not to go ahead with BMT. But we are still waiting for final opinion of doctors and we will keep you posted. If we don’t go ahead with BMT, we will cancel this campaign.

Thank you for your love and wonderful support which has stood like a rock behind us when we really needed.  Please do continue to pray for her health and recovery.

May god bless all!
