Hi everyone.
Haji Public School concluded its Delhi Trip a few days ago, and the kids have been sent on safely to the village.
The trip was fabulous - very exhausting but fun, packed with activities and hopefully very memorable for all the kids. I know they were very happy with the whole experience and remember Delhi fondly. As promised, a cost sheet for the trip, showing budgeted versus actuals.

We managed to collect more than we needed, and we should be seeing an extra 40k in the school account for its operating expenses in the future.

A huge thank you to all donors of the HPS Delhi Trip Fundraiser.

Still overwhelmed by how quickly we were able to raise funds for this very exciting FIRST TRIP for a batch of extremely deserving students.We have raised over the estimated trip costs and will therefore throw in some more activities for the kids in Delhi. (A surprise day trip to Agra is in the books.) If we still have funds leftover after the school trip, they will be directed towards the school's operating expenses in the future. The funds will go directly into the school account anyway and there they lie for school use.

Quick update for friends of Haji Public School.
First of all, huge thank you to every single person who has  written in support and contributed to the cause. The fundraiser is going great and we are nearing our target of INR 2.13 lakh for the trip.  
Please continue sharing among your acquaintances and know that even a rupee donation means a lot to us.
Have been speaking to the kids individually, prepping them for the trip. They are all, to put it mildly, VERY EXCITED. :)
