Dear Supporters,

We have some unfortunate news to share. Yuvaraj was not responding well to chemotherapy. His blood counts were not improving despite blood transfusions. The frequent episodes of fever did not help the case either. However, his overall condition deteriorated in the past week and he passed away on November 6th.

The little fighter did his best trying to win the battle with cancer. But we would like to believe he is in a better place now. Pain-free and resting in His caring hands. May the family find strength to cope with this loss.

WIth your generous contribution we have started the treatment. Yuvaraj was admitted on Oct 2nd in Coimbatore Kidney Center. His blood platelets and counts are very low, so transfusion was done on Oct 3rd and 4th. Chemo port will be inserted this week, Chemotherapy will be started tomorrow oct 5. Based on his blood count stabilization, HLA testing for him and his mother will be done. Blood will be sent to USA for processing the HLA and this will take a week.  Attaching picture of Yuvaraj taken today Oct 4.

Yuvaraj is still waiting for a minimum Rs.8 lakh in order to undergo Stem-cell treatment. His blood counts deteriorated this week and  he is undergoing chemo therapy as an outpatient. We are running out of time, and treatment needs to be started asap. We invite ideas to make this happen.
