2nd September 2016
Dear Supporters,

I am Sudhakar, a Milaap Open fellow from Bengaluru. I spoke to Harsh’s father, Gunjan, on 2nd September over a phone call.

The Bone marrow transplant was carried out on 14th June. The donor for his transplant was his elder brother Aditya. He was discharged a week ago  from Narayana Hrudayalaya.

Minor neurological complications arose during the surgery because of which he has not been able to walk properly. Physiotherapy sessions are currently being held and he has started walking normally. He is also visiting the hospital twice every week for routine check-ups and blood tests. They have rented a house near the hospital so that it is easy for them to visit the hospital whenever required.

The printing shop in Bhubaneshwar is currently being managed by Gunjan’s relatives. His first priority is Harsh’s complete recovery. He can’t stop thanking all the donors for their contributions. He said, “While money is important, it is your blessings and prayers that have made it possible to sustain so far. Please continue to pray for his quick recovery.”

Thank you.
