Dear Supporters,
With good wishes of all our donors and supporters, 2016-17 turned out to be a great year for Parvarish. The Museum School received UNESCO's Wenhui Award for Educational Innovation in Asia and the Pacific 2016. In a grand function held at Beijing (China) in November, Shibani received the Award from UNESCO APEID Head Mr Wang Libing. Mr Wang in his opening speech mentioned, that he was amazed to see The Museum School integrate and use Government Institutions like Museums to bring quality education to underprivileged children. Pradeep in his Keynote Address at the event, detailed the scale-up strategy of the model as Virtual Museum School.
The Summers started with a Teachers Training programme for our Teachers. while children had their summer break. A 2-month Summer Camp was organised for the children, during which they learnt different art forms. The Summer Camp concluded with the Annual Function of Parvarish, in which the students showcased their skills on the stage, in front of a huge audience.
Last year the children who appeared for Board exams came out with exceptionally good results. They nailed it by scoring distinctions. The New Session of The Museum School begins from 1st of July.

The MUSEUM SCHOOL was started in Mumbai, on 25th Feb 2017 by our partner Atmanirbhar Foundation Group.
It won the UNESCO's Award for Educational Innovation in Asia and the Pacific 2016. UNESCO evaluated Innovative projects from 58 countries, shortlisted 15 as Finalists, and declared 2 as Winners. The Museum School' from India, was one of them.
The students had appeared for their 10th and 12th boards earlier this year. When the results were out, the school faculty was overwhelmed with their performance as did exceptionally well. Below are a few pictures of their results.
Two students, who had completed their schooling here a few years back have now been recruited as teachers.
