Dear Supporters,

As mentioned in our update dated 27-11-2019,  Fathima is doing fine and is showing good signs of improvement. Around Rs 6 Lacs of funds raised on this campaign were used to settle all the outstanding medical expenses incurred by the family.  Fortunately, Fathima recovered with medical management and did not need the prescribed transplant which was scheduled to take place, as stated earlier. We apologize for the miscommunication.

With the consent of the family, the remaining money available will be used towards the treatment of another child in need of urgent needs.

Aastha Porwal, aged 7 months old, is suffering from External Biliary Atresia and required Liver Transplant urgently. She has successfully undergone the transplant and has shown initial signs of improvement. They've only raised Rs 10 Lacs out of the required amount of approx Rs 22 Lacs needed due to prolonged treatment. The remaining sum will be transferred towards the same to help the family.

Fathima is recovering well after her transplant. She was admitted Two months ago due to infection and she is recovering from that now. She keeps falling ill every now and then. Doctors say that it is going to take time for her to fully recover.

We would like to inform you that Fatima is under the supervision of the doctors and is taking multivitamins. Doctors are doing the lab tests and are waiting for the reports so that they can decide the further course of the treatment.
