A sincere and heartfelt thank you to all friends & family members who contributed to this cause on such short notice .

Now with the Nepal Government validating our permits for the 2017 , climbing Everest again in 2017 has again become a reality for me & Samir and this campaign definitely gives us the launch pad to try and raise the huge amount of INR 38 lacs ( about $ 58 K ) for the climb. 

The amount raised will not only help us in our dream of climbing Everest again but impact the lives of the Sherpa's in two ways -

 -- Directly - through the SOS campaign where as part of our Everest    expedition 2017 climb we would be providing shoes to Sherpa's with your contributions which enables them to be better equipped at their jobs by avoiding any injuries or frost-bites, thus ensuring a   good income for the season to  support their families.

-- Indirectly - Through the employment we would be generating for dozens of      Sherpa's through our Everest climb. Nepal post the Earthquake needs more  tourism and climbers to visit their country so that life can be normal for
them again and this we hope will make a small difference to them and their     families.

I would also like to elaborate more on some of the major costs that I & Samir will be incurring on our climb for next year .

Shoes for 100 Sherpa's / Porters	4 lacs
Personal climbing gear for 2 climbers	6 lacs
Reaching Everest Base camp	2 lacs
High altitude rations & food	10 lacs
Oxygen cylinders for the team	8 lacs
Communication equipment	2 lacs
Setting up higher camps	4 lacs
Travel & accommodation cost	2 lacs

With the help of Milaap impact program , we can raise upto 2 X of your contributions  . We sincerely hope to reach our target of impacting lives of more than 100 porters in Nepal by providing them support with their livelihood . Our Endeavour of Mission Everest 2017 is to try impacting every life in the Khumbu valley who were affected by the Earthquake .
Any contribution in excess of the goal will be used towards our climb for Mt. Everest in 2017 thus directly impacting live's of people working and living in the region .
With the 2015 permits now being validated for 2 years , We hope to reach our goal !!
