The Green Trails team sends out a huge thank you to all the supporters who have generously contributed to the cause.
Here is an update from us.

With the Rs 90, 000 we raised we have done the following:

(1) We have sent down 1500 kg of waste from our 3 of our trekking slopes to Dehradun recycling center and landfill.

We also expanded our team on two of our slopes.
(2) To advance the green trek operations, one Green Trails Intern joined us this November at Lohajung, our base camp for the Brahmatal trek.
(3) We have recruited one Fellow who will join us on the Sandakphu Phalut slope in December.

(4) Meanwhile, with the weather becoming promising this winter, we have restarted our upcycling workshops in Uttarakhand and West Bengal base camps. Eco-pillows and upcycled coasters are in the making!

We would advance the Green Trails work on our mountain slopes and strengthen our green trek operations. This winter, we will focus on the following treks: Brahmatal, Sandakphu, Kedarkantha, Dayara Bugyal.
