Thank you all for the immense amount of support and love.

Sharing this update to announce the end of 'Udaan' for the academic year 2018-19 at Indian School of Business. We organised 4 workshops each at Industrial Training Institute, Mohali (ITI) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mohali (JNV)

The workshops at Industrial Training Institute, Mohali entailed helping the women students there get the job/pursue the career they desire and/or command higher salaries. With that goal in mind, these workshops were a mix of confidence building, spoken English improvement, entrepreneurial lessons, resume building and general career counselling.

The students at JNV were studying in class XI and XII and are about to venture into the real world soon. So the interventions there were geared towards helping them understand their strengths and weaknesses, capitalise on the former and improve the latter, identify the opportunities available for them, how to apply and most importantly give them guidance as to how to prepare. We tied up a tech startup to help us design psychometric tests and give personalised reports on what career will their skillsets and interests fit.

We are glad we were able to touch the lives of ~800 odd students of a different economic strata and make an impact.

Here is a quick update!

We culminated the 'Udaan' Initiative at ISB through the final intervention at ITI in March 2019. The session was done in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital club at ISB. The intervention was done across 2 days. On the first day, we invited students who were entrepreneurs prior to ISB to share their experiences and to break down the fundamentals of a small business such as a Momo stall to them. The second day involved inviting women entrepreneurs successfully doing their own business in and around Chandigarh. The intervention was a huge success and we ended the workshop by distributing souvenirs of 'Udaan'. Some inside experience pics are below.

Thank you all for the wonderful support and love.

In continuation with the previous update, we tied up with the same career counselling agency (ProBano) as earlier and used the psychometric results to organise sessions on future career options by 2 agency experts at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. The sessions were attended by ~80% of the class XI and XII students of the school.

The experts briefed the students on how to first evaluate their psychometric report, followed by the career options available for each personality trait and then what will exams to prepare for and their respective timelines.
