The New School Bus is here :)



This is sheer love - a whooping Rs.2,82,848 raised in almost 20 days through the fundraiser on Milaap. Thank you Milaap for being the perfect bridge between the donors and our dream. Thank you each and everyone who contributed and made this happen. Thanks to all those who couldn't monetarily but shared our posts and helped us reach those who could. Irrespective of how much you contributed, what really mattered to us was the fact that there were people who believed in us, the cause we are working for and took out time to contribute and further put a word for us. Every penny that came our way was enough to tell us how much love and concern people have for our children of H.H.High School, Brambe. It not just made the task easier for us but also reaffirmed our belief that we aren't alone in this journey of change.Now, how did we get a Rs.4,65,000 bus for Rs.2,82,848? Well, since the seller was in a rush and wasn't ready to wait for long, a Good Samaritan gave us an interest free loan of Rs.2,00,000 on 30.07.2018 to pay as advance to the seller as a confirmation of the deal, which we did. It was then when we started a fundraiser on Milaap and were able to raise the balance amount which we paid to the seller on 21.08.2018 and took possession of the bus. Even though we have got the bus, we still need to raise around Rs.1,83,000 in a week to pay off the loan from the Good Samaritan.
