Dear All,
Now there won't be any admission posts, no discharge posts, no prayers post, no new photos, no updates, no posts for funds support, no Milaap forwards.

My heart breaks into a million pieces while writing this update. We lost our darling Akshaini on 26th Nov 19 early morning after a brave, brave fight of almost 18 months.

We are overwhelmed with the love and blessings and all the support you have extended to us. This would really not have been possible without your help.

Akshu always knew that there are many people who have helped her parents gather funds for her treatment. She was aware that there are many, many people who are continuously praying for her to get better and sending her loads of blessings and good vibes. She always used to tell us that once she is well, she would throw a huge party for all her well-wishers and give them handmade greeting cards.

Akshu was extremely attached to me. When she saw her beloved Mumma in tears, she said "Akshu ko kuch nahi hoga, Don't cry". Which translates to "Nothing will happen to Akshu, dont cry". That was the extent of willpower this little child had!

Her wishlist was endless. She fought till the very end. But the monstrous disease was too much for her little body. She smiled a beautiful, she said "Now I am feeling better" and took her last breath with divine smile looking at mumma, holding her hands.

Akshu was a gifted, extraordinary child who was extremely observant and mature for her age. Music was her passion. She has touched so many hearts,  spread so many smiles and amazed everyone with her willpower and determination.

Nothing in the world can replace her and the loss is terrible and painful. She is pain-free now. We are thankful that an angel like her chose us to be her family, lived with us and loved us. We consider ourselves truly lucky and blessed and we are so, so proud of Akshu, the brave and strongest child!

We know that she is now watching us from up there and showering us with all her love.

Please take care of yourself and your loved ones. I wish no one should go through any major illness.

Thank you for all your help. Thank you for being there always.

Stay happy and pain free my baccha. Mumma Papa Rishaan love you a lot.

From
Seema, Siddhu and Rishaan.
And lots of love from Akshu.

It’s scary to see active bleeding in her stools, it’s heart-wrenching to see her gums bleeding and blood spilling from her mouth. Bruising, patches over the body. She cries a lot due to severe pain. Sometimes, she needs our support to move. She looks pale, tired, low with energy. Due to the progress in disease her bone marrow not generating new blood components and falling very often.
Hence, she needs blood and platelet transfusions every 2nd / 3rd day, sometimes multiple units. She is fed up with visiting the hospital in an emergency at any time and it has become very frequent now. We are rushing to the hospital with both the kids even at midnights very often. Each hospitalization for transfusions costs around Rs. 30,000 to 40,000 or more depending on the number of units transfused, much more if there are some other infections, health issues or investigations. In her last admission in isolation, we had to decide whether we pay the hospital bill or to buy her monthly medicine, we decide to keep medicine on hold till we arrange for it, as the isolation cost and total bill was very high.
Like any other parents, we also don’t want our child to suffer without treatment (though its supportive care) due to funds issue. We can’t stop her supportive care treatment and keep her at home doing nothing. We are still positive and we will keep go on.
We all know she is a fighter and hats off to her willpower and strength. She is missing her school, her friends, outings, her classes and she visualizes herself going to school very soon and enjoying a life full of fun with her friends and SHE WILL. Praying and we truly believe that MIRACLE WILL HAPPEN!!
Dear all, you have supported Akshaini and us in this entire journey from the beginning generously for the worthy cause. Without all of your support, it would have not been possible to come so far. She is still fighting so bravely, please continue your support. Its a humble request to all of you to please share the link as much as possible.
Thank you so much for being part of our toughest phase of life.

Regards,
Siddhu and family.
