I am Radhika, a fellow with Milaap. Last week on 20th April, I met Misthi and her parents at the Child Heart Foundation, Uday Park. I have a great news to share with you all!
The little girl, Misthi, who will turn three years old in May, successfully underwent her Glenn Operation. She was admitted at Max Hospital, Saket from April 4th to April 10th for the surgery.

“Her situation before the operation continued to worsen day by day. Her milk intake was zero. She would barely eat half a chapati a day. Her eyes were swollen, her colour turned blue. Due to constipation and breathing problem, she used to remain cranky all day,” said Misthi’s mother.
Last week on April 17th, Misthi’s stitches got removed. She also went through a few tests. There is a tremendous improvement in the little one’s health. The feeling of contentment I saw on the faces of both the parents is a result of your love and support. They sincerely thanked all of you and the Child Heart Foundation for giving a healthy life to their daughter!
