Here is one more update on this crowdfunding activity for Gowthami's college education.

I am withdrawing the funds contributed by you by directing them to be deposited my account temporarily. Gowthami is yet to open her bank account. We have already applied for a PAN so that bank account can be opened for her. Her mother doesn't have a bank account. Her father, unfortunately, cannot be trusted and it would be very difficult to get the funds from him once he gets access to the money. So, in the best interest, I am requesting the funds to be transferred to my account. Once Gowthami's bank account is opened, I will transfer the money.

Since you have donated to this cause, it is only right for me to share the activity with you, and hence this update.

Gowthami is enjoying her college and has new stories to tell every day. She thanks one an all of you for making her dream come true.

Dear supporters

Firstly thank you very much for the overwhelming support shown for this campaign. I never imagined we could collect the desired amount in such a short span.

Although we have not reached the 50k mark, I am going ahead and ending this campaign here, the reason being the first year fees for Gowthami has been paid. The rest of the money that supporters wish to contribute can go for another equally / more deserving purpose.

With all your help and good wishes, Gowthami steps into her first year college today.
