Dear Supporters,

It has been a very painful journey from the day I started this campaign and my ultimate hope was to get Vijay up and not be let down for financial reasons. I think all you as "supporters" sent by God. Your contributions have helped to cover Vijay's hospital expenses.

Sharing details on the fund utilisation : 

Total funds collected as part of the campaign "Vijayneedsaheart" is Rs. 2, 94, 656 (as of 6th Feb 2016) which includes both INR & USD contributions.  Rs. 1,74, 800 was routed directly to the hospital for covering the hospital expenses while the rest of the amount will be transferred to his wife Shobana Vijayanand to support her going forward.  

I would also like to thank, Mr.Alister from Milaap who has been (and is still) a pillar of support for me to run this campaign successfully, reacing out to such large audience.

Thanks again from the bottom of my heart. I would like to inform that the campaign is closed and will not be accepting any more contributions.

This is Venkat, Vijayanand's close friend. 

Perhaps... I should say this might be the FINAL UPDATE !!!
With so much of machines around....
so many hearts surrounding the hospital......,
so many doctors fighting to revive the man......,
so much of prayer....,
so much of money funded......,
so much of hopes.....,
so much of need for him to come back.....

we all had "so much" .....to do to get Vijay up and running.... God is mercy less at times and he is very stubborn on what he needs. He took him back !!!! We lost Vijayanand today this morning....

This is time to still continue the prayers for the family to give them the best of life.. Loss is a loss though..
Thanks to all of you people who had contributed generously from around the globe, irrespective of relations, geographies. It means a lot to us. 

As of note of gesture, I would still request the good hearts now to contribute as much as they can to help the family survive the loss, atleast financially. You will also be updated soon on the fund utilization that went towards his treatment and the next steps of how the remaining funds will be used towards his wife and children.

Vijay is still in support but slowly his immune is responding to the medication.  Hope is the best word now and i see that we all carry that in our prayers..  Please do pray for this man to come back..   Still waiting for the organ (heart) though its now a PAN INDIA priority listed now.  Please spread the message for this requirement as well to your known sources, especially within Chennai, India.  I need a heart of AB+ group.
