Dear supporters,

Some of the donors reached out to understand how Tabassum is doing and what led to the complications in first place. Here's an update based on the information from the treating doctors.  This was Tabassum's 4th pregnancy and the earlier 3 pregnancies were carried out using C-section (Caesarian) which resulted in complications in the uterus and bleeding. Repeated C-Sections have played a part in the complication in the 4th pregnancy. Ultimately, hysterectomy, ie removal of uterus, had to be performed to prevent further complications in future.  

Both the child and the mother are now doing better thanks to the treatment and are visiting the hospital for regular checkups.

Dear Supporters

Thank you for all the support you have shown towards Tabassum and her baby. Tabassum is doing better now and her baby is also better. She and her baby were treated and began showing signs of improvement. They are now discharged and ready to go home. Both her's and her baby's blood sugar levels are now stable.

She and her baby need to come back for regular check ups. Once again thank you for your support. The family is grateful.
