We met Anusha on Saturday to determine her health and make some inquiries. We are happy to inform you that she is responding well to the chemo sessions and she looked healthy and was cheerful. In fact this was the first time we saw her smiling.. She has undergone 30 chemo sessions till now but the doctors cant say for certain about how many more chemo sessions she would require. As of now, she visits the hospital twice a week, once for a blood test followed with the chemo session.
Her medicine bills have been piling up as the cost ranges from 2000 to 5000. These medicines are usually prescribed after each session, which means that her father has to spend close to 10000 every month. This fund will also help him cover that cost.
Ever since Anusha's father sold his land he has been working as a daily wager and his wife as a coolie. He doesn't mind it as his primary concern is to cure her daughter, who he says, is a brilliant student.
Anusha has been promoted to 3rd class for her outstanding academic records. She hopes to join her friends in school to study and play with them, something that she is unable to do now.

As you know, the treatment is ongoing, Anusha visited the hospital again on July 19th for her chemo session and went back to Ramnagara on 21st July. She is going to come back to Bangalore on 24th July and will be under chemo for the week.
Those who wish to meet her family can drop an email to me (campaign organizer) and we will try arranging a visit.
We are 1.5 lacs away from reaching the required fund. Please help us in spreading the word and achieve the target fund.

We are happy to inform you that 5 lakhs has been raised offline. Therefore we have reduced the goal of this fundraiser to 3 lakhs.
