Thank you all for your support.

We have some unfortunate news to share with you all today. Latha passed away on 7th May, during evening hours. She underwent a stem cell transplant recently, Unfortunately she developed rare complications like veno occlusive disease of liver. She developed an infection which led to multi organ failure.

Doctors tried their best but couldn't save her. The family is thankful to each one of you, thank you all for your support. All the funds raised via this campaign have been used towards her medical expenses. 

May her soul rest in peace.

Here's an update on Latha's health-

Latha received stem cell infusion on 27th March, 2018 which was given by her brother. Unfortunately she developed rare complications like veno occlusive disease of liver(liver injury due to conditioning chemotherapy), acute acalculous cholecystitis (gall bladder infection) in addition to microbial organism infection of blood. Today(4/5/17) is day + 39 means 39 day after stem cell infusion, though her white blood cell are recovered she is requiring blood and platelet support to sustain her life.

Doctors are trying their best, we all are just praying for her recovery.
Thank you for the tremendous support which you have shown towards her, the family is really grateful to each one of you. We shall keep you posted.

Thank you all for your support.

Mrs Latha, 42 years woman received Bone Marrow infusion from her brother Mr.Venkateshwara Rao. The Stem  Cell infusion is preceded by toxic Chemotherapy known as Conditioning Therapy which will destroy her malignant bone marrow. The stem cell which were given to her from her brother will home the marrow and start producing blood cells for her. Today (31/03/2018) is called day +5 after stem cell infusion, and will take at least another two weeks for ULL recovery. At present she is severly
neutropenic, thumbocytopenic and anaemic. She is now critical but stable, and we all are waiting  for her full recovery. At present she is requiring blood component support, higher antibiotics and antifungals, growth factor (medication which fasten the recovery of blood count)

Please pray for her speedy recovery, Once again thank you all for your love and support.
