Thanks so much for your support.
We initially aimed at collecting 50,000 Rs and with your love and support we have collected more than that.
The funds collected will help us meet the various expenses in organizing the AICA DANCE FESTIVAL 2018 at Madurai on June 24th 2018. With your help, we will be able to pay the eminent artistes who come to perform for the festival from different places in India and provide them with local hospitality, accommodation and other facilities.
We will also be able to reach out to more schools and colleges with your help and conduct the APPRECIATION OF INDIAN CLASSICAL ARTS AWARENESS PROGRAM, that has been already successfully conducted in 11 institutions so far. We have so far reached out to more than 5000 school (many government aided institutions as well) and college students and have made them aware of the beauty of Indian classical dance forms.
The AICA drive conducted in schools and colleges is an ongoing project which is done throughout the year. AICA DANCE FESTIVAL is a yearly event as of now and we commence it in Madurai from this year. We are also planning on other initiatives to spread the awareness and understanding of our classical dance forms among our youth as that is an integral part of their holistic education. We would like to let you know that your contribution will definitely help us in this journey.
Thus we can preserve, promote and propagate our classical arts among youth and and together build a peaceful, happy, healthy and culturally rich tomorrow.
