Unfortunately, Rahin passed away at 12:35 AM last night, 18th of March 2018. He was suffering from jaundice and was admitted in the hospital in Guwahati on the 13th of March 2018 .
His condition worsened thereafter. There were complications and the jaundice could not be controlled post that. The doctors told us his cardiac vessels were also blocked and it wasn't an overnight development but had worsened over the years.
This was detected too late to be cured. He was a sportsperson and he used to complain of having issues breathing, which we didn't do much about, since we used to link it to his active involvement in sports and it used to get better with time.
This led to more complications as he then had a renal failure. All of this together led to a brain damage.
He was a good friend, a great son and a wonderful brother. He will be forever remembered as the shy and quiet guy from Majuli who never made an enemy in life.
We shall be withdrawing the amount raised in order to pay for the loans the family had taken to pay for his treatment and medication.
On behalf of his family and friends, I thank everyone who contributed to his treatment. Please lend a prayer for his departed soul. May God guide him to heaven.
