Priyam has been taken out of the ICU, and has been shifted to the general ward, under observation. His vital conditions are better than before, but he is very weak. Nurses have started giving a little bit of oral food, every day. Physiotherapist also comes every day to do a bit of movement of his hands and legs, as he was on the ICU bed for the past 2 months. It will still take few weeks for him to recover completely.

The total bill is over Rs 28 Lacs (excluding medicines) and the re-estimated hospital expenses will be Rs 30 Lacs. Please find below the attached re-estimated report from the hospital. The total due amount is over 8 lacs now, which we need to pay to the hospital. Dear Supporters,

Priyam underwent another surgery yesterday where he had a surgical wash of his entire abdomen to remove any further infections, as decided by ICU and the surgical doctors. We're glad to know that his rectum wasn't infected and wasn't removed as speculated by the doctors, before the surgery. It has been close to a month now that Priyam is inside ICU, post his first operation. His vital conditions are better than before, but he is still in ventilation and is very weak, hence he will still be under ICU observation for the next few days. Please pray for our son and we thank you from the bottom of my heart, for all your support so far!

The total bill stands Rs 24 lacs (including 2 lacs medicines) and there is a huge due is close to Rs 7 lacs, which is why we are withdrawing the donation amount we've received so far. First of all, thank you from the bottom of my heart, for all your support so far!

Till 16th February, my son has shown some improvement - he vital fluctuations have reduced. His temperature is now 100 degrees and his blood pressure levels are normal. He had some cough accumulation in his throat, which he wasn't able to throw out because of his weakness. Doctors performed tracheostomy - which is a surgical procedure which makes a hold in the neck for a direct airway, rather than via ventilation. He is having pain because of this, but that normal, according to the doctors, for the first 2 days. His body is still weak and he is still under liquid diet.
