Hope you and your near-dear ones are safe and healthy during these trying times.

Life has been off-track for millions of people across the world. 

During these unprecedented times of COVID-19, our edu-leaders, children and parents are are going beyond their comfort level to fulfill the motto of "सीखें-सिखाएं" (teach and learn). They are ensuring that the children's learning continues.  Celebrating their unique efforts, we are sharing  #beyondcomfortzone strories of faith, inspiration, and change by our edu-leaders.
1. Story 1 from Priya shares how they approached community and started teaching on phone. It gave us goosebumps when we read how her father acknowledged seeing a 'new avatar' of her while teaching children on phone.



2. Story 2 from Aanchal primarily shares how community is going beyond comfort zone to ensure children continue learning and how she is working with the children and building their confidence.



May i-Saksham edu-leaders are finding innovative ways to make learning engaging and fun for kids, on phone or otherwise. Lets wish them the best for their efforts.

We are now 100 fellows strong!!

Dear friend,
Over the last 6 months, i-Saksham has experienced precious moments... our first batch of edu-leaders graduated, a partnership with JEEViKA* established, and school transformation program strengthened.

a glimpse of the work in last few months:


70 new edu-leaders trained on innovative pedagogical practices and are being provided mentoring and coaching support.

Partnership with JEEVIKA, where cluster-lever federation of women SHGs would scale the model at grassroots and recruit edu-leaders.

100 edu-leaders are providing 10hrs/week of supplementary education in 25 underserved schools and 50 community learning centers.

These edu-leaders have conducted 60 Parent Teacher Meetings altogether to sensitize community on education and enhance their participation.
What we experienced in last 6 months?
Needless to say, this could not have been without your fantastic support.

Our next goal is to build a cadre of 1000 edu-leaders and work with 50,000 children by 2022. We need your support  to reach that goal and mentor our youth to amplify their impact and meet their professional aspirations.
