This was the first time the children had ever visited a museum and they were fascinated by the architecture of Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum and the unique artifacts stored within. From ancient daggers to miniature paintings to dioramas depicting ancient civilization there was a special treat that engaged and stimulated each and every child. The visit to Rani Baug and Kamla Nehru Park offered children the rare opportunity to leave behind the concrete jungle and enjoy some time with the natural world they have read so much about. Last but certainly not the least, the children were completely enthralled by the Wonders of the Universe show. They had read about the solar system in various books and created models but nothing compared to the experience of watching astronomy come alive at Nehru Planetarium.
