Because of financial problem we have shifted her from Manipal Hospital to Dr. Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital and the treatment is still going on, because of sudden fluctuations she's not able recover fast also doctors cannot tell that when she's going to recover completely. We have to take care and support her in all the possible ways.

Firstly Thank you, everyone for your continuous support and sorry for delaying to give an update as the condition of Bhagya Lakshmi was critical.

In the process of treatment for sodium fluctuation she was infected because of keeping the pick line for long time. 5days back she had been moved to ICU due to some blood infection because of the infection and more cough she was not able to take breath and also BP was dropped and her condition was critical that is the reason why she had been moved to ICU, in that condition she was not in a situation to take care in the ward. She was undergoing a treatment for that infection ICU. Yesterday night they had shifted her to HDU (High Dependency Unit) ward after the treatment for infection is done and BP is normal without giving any medicines. Now they’re currently focusing on sodium fluctuations in the pituitary, keeping in mind so that we can manage the things at home by keeping a Nurse for some days because it’s already more than 40days she’s in hospital which might lead to some more complications like as I said about infection.

Currently Doctors are looking into sodium fluctuations issue and reduce the cough because of continuous cough she’s not able to breath normally so that she needs oxygen supply to keep the saturation level normal. Till they get the proper dosage of tablets to be given for the sodium control and to manage the things at home, the doctors are not sure about the discharge. As the stay in hospital is extending there’s is a problem of money, because she was in ICU for 4days the estimated bill is extended. ICU charge per day is around 50k to 60k. If the blood tests and usage of pharmacy drugs are more it may go upto 80k. Please help us by funding more and also share this to as many people as possible so that we get more help.

The treatment is still going on, i just wanted to give an update on the course of treatment which is going on and why it is taking so long.

The removal of tumour in the brain introduced some other problems like her right Side of the body is not working due to the brain stroke and sodium levels in her body started fluctuating. Currently doctors are trying to correct the sodium level which is not so easy process for that which they are not able to give the estimated date for her discharge, that’s the reason why she’s in high dependency unit. Also the physiotherapy treatment is going on.

There are so many problems if the sodium level in the body starts fluctuating. The problem which she’s facing when the sodium fluctuation is that she will become drowsy and she is not able to understand anything and slowly go into sleep. If this continues there are chances of her to go into coma. That’s the reason why she has to been monitored very strictly which is not possible at home to maintain all these things.

Doctors are trying to keep it in normal,  so that the sodium level in the body do not fluctuate.
