The funds raised will now be utilized to get the menstrual awareness books printed and to get the 5p sanitary pouches made. They will then be distributed amongst school students during our menstrual awareness sessions that are now being conducted regularly in Delhi Government schools.

We are happy to announce that on the Occasion of National Girl Child Day yesterday ( 24th January 2018), The menstrual health awareness book, 'Mahawari ki Kahani Sachhi Saheli ki Zubaani ' was launched by the Department of Women and Child Development (Govt. Of NCT of Delhi) at the Delhi Secretariat. The book was unveiled by Honourable Health Minister of Delhi, Mr. Satyendra Jain, Mrs. Shilpa Shinde ( Director, WCD), Dr. Arun Gupta (President, Delhi Medical Council) and Dr. Surbhi Singh ( President, Sachhi Saheli)
It was also announced that the WCD department will distribute the said books amongst 11,000 Aanganwadi workers in New Delhi so that they are able to dispense right knowledge about periods to their children and the families that they work with with the help of the book.
We are elated that the book will now be used as a resource by the government.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our donors for their support.
