Today i.e Feb 10th 2018 is Day 23 of successful completion of Cadevar Liver Transplant of my son.
His current medical condition as per the specialist's treating him is as below:
1. All relevant investigations has been done.
2. Liver Function Test's have improved gradually with normalization of Bilirubin and Liver Enzymes
3. Elevated Renal Parameters has been corrected with increased urine output and all renal parameters normalised
4. Respiratory Distress has improved.
5. Had hallucinations and one episode of seizure. Has been treated successfully with antiepileptics and there has been been no further episode of seizure.
6. Health has improved well and is able to mobilize independently and take care of himself.
7. Wound is healing well with healthy scars.
Am running short of time as we need to arrange the balance funds ASAP as the hospital have hinted at a possibility of early discharge considering his recovery. Please help us in spreading the word. Milaap is matching every donation with additional 20% of funds from their corpus. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Here is an update on Rajkamal's health.
We had reached the crucial stage of the campaign Rajkamal- Transplant.
Received a call from the hospital on Jan 18th 11.30 PM stating that they are in receipt of a cadaver donor whose factors match with Rajkamal.
We had to rush to the hospital and the TRANSPLANT procedure began.
With the funds I had; deposited the same with the Hospital for them to begin.
Post Operation; Raj's kidney failed to work as it did not accept the new liver.
He was on dialysis for 8 days anti-rejection medications.
Slowly, the kidney has begun to respond and is now slowly making progress. The total stay in LIVER ICU Is 28 days.

The sad part is; his condition is worsening day-by-day. Was just discharged on Jan 13th, 2018 after a week at the hospital. Did readmit him to drain the ascetic Fluid which was in excess of 20L that had built-up within such a short span of time in his abdomen.
With a long journey ahead and “TIME BEING THE ESSENCE” ;am deeply worried if at all I will be able to save my son
