Hi All,
Thanks to you again. We are really grateful to have such a massive response from all the kind-hearted people around us. We have received contribution not only from different region in India but also from abroad. This is really great.

Please find latest update on Sumit's health:
Sumit is still in ventilation and his kidney is still not working. Platelets count is 20000 which is dangerously low, also Leukemic blood cells have grown very badly. Doctors are really worried about this and they are still unable to start the induction chemotherapy due to unstable count of blood cells.
We had already arranged additional 4 SDPs (Single Donor Platelets) which is more efficient than normal platelets (already being given 10-12 packets per day).
SDP transfusion will be continued in coming days. Since Kidney is not working, Haemodialysis have to be continued to remove contaminated fluid from his body.

Considering present health condition and future treatment plans of Sumit, it seems he needs to be in ventilation/ expensive chemotherapy for upcoming days. Hence we are increasing the goal to 10 lakhs INR .

I am sharing front and last page of the provisional bill as some people wanted to see this.

Except this we have other charges incurred outside hospital.
Approximate figure given below:
  • Outside Laboratory charges (Tribedy & Roy, Tata Memorial Center, Park Clinic): Rs.25000/-
  • Platelets bought from outside: Rs.10800/-
  • SDP Screening and procedure charges at Bell Vue Clinic: Rs.51000/-

Keep your blessings. He needs this the most.
Best Regards,
Saptarshi
