Ayisha's condition is continuously improving after the treatment for increasing bone marrow and platelet count. Her platelet count is slowly rising and there is a ray of hope that she might not require a bone-marrow transplant immediately. However, she is still under observation.
I would like to thank you for your donations. If it turns out that she can survive without the transplant and amount required for her treatment is lesser, Milaap can help someone else with the remaining funds. If the doctors say with certainty that she does not require a transplant, then the funds raised can help someone save someone else's life. But at the moment, they are advising to wait as she is still undergoing treatment and observation.

Ayisha Mehrish's father discussed her options with the doctors. Her treatment was prolonged more as the doctors need to run some more tests. The test report done for gene level says that she has no issues with the gene. But as her platelet is still only 15000/ and hemoglobin is very less doctors are advising her parents to wait and analyze her condition for another 4 weeks before undergoing any procedure. Bone marrow increasing medicine has been administered but they have to assess if it works. Nothing is confirmed yet. Meanwhile she is still in a situation where she needs to get blood transfusions to increase her platelet count. Everytime her platelet count goes low she has vomiting, nausea and has to be rushed to get a transfusion.
