Dear supporters,

We have some unfortunate news to share with you today.

Rokeswaran, unfortunately had a relapse of his disease even before the BMT process started, and had to undergo high dose chemotherapy to reduce his disease burden to enable him for BMT. Unfortunately, the disease did not respond even to the highest chemotherapy regimen that was offered, and he succumbed to his progressive leukemia.

The whole family, the team of doctors and nurses wish to thank the donors who have fought with us in the fight to save Rokeswaran.

All the pending funds raised for him, will be transferred to another needful campaign an we sincerely thank all of you for your contribution.

Rokeswaran is well and is getting discharged following his pre transplant chemotherapy. He will have bone marrow assessment one week later, following which he will undergo BMT.

Rokeswaran is recovering well from the pre-transplant chemotherapy. He will continue to need further supportive care for one more week before procedures for BMT starts.
