We have raised the funds to distribute 30k books to underprivileged kids in the country. While we are home delivering books to some kids in Delhi-NCR, this Phase would focus more on partnering with credible NGOs across the country to provide them books and reach their beneficiaries.

To help raise the rest of the amount faster, Milaap is offering a 10% matching on all the payments (till Monday 10 AM , 26-Oct-2020 ). This means for every 5000 INR, Milaap will contribute an additional 500 INR to the campaign thereby creating 1.10X the impact.

Dear Donors,

PadhaiRukeNahi Campsign, we have raised the funds to distribute 30k books to underprivileged kids in the country. While we are home delivering books to some kids in Delhi-NCR, this Phase would focus more on partnering with credible NGOs across the country to provide them books and reach their beneficiaries.  

We are also piloting setting up a community library in Sangam Vihar, Delhi in collaboratiin with some Teach for India fellows - with an aim to provide story books for kods to read while they are stuck at their homes during the pandemic

We will be able to do all the above only because you were kind enough to believe in the cause and contribute towards it

In the first phase, we raised close to 2 lakhs and used the funds to subsidize ~10,000 books for kids.

We are using the same this DaanUtsav to partner with students, teaching them digital marketing and then asking them to use those skills to champion the cause.

Since we believe in the power of the students, we are expanding the campaign goal to 10L and will be using the fresh funds to distribute more books to kids and pilot BooksForAll libraries.
