Thank you very much for the tremendous support and your best wishes for Sir Farswan's recovery and betterment of health. He is undergoing treatment at Synergy Institute, Dehradun and we hope he will recover soon.

Even as we all stay apart, this is a phenomenal example of how everyone came together and generously contributed in such a short span of time to help the family move past these trying times. An extraordinary way to shower love and affection towards Sir Farswan and his family, to show everyone how we stood united when one of us needed it. The patient ‘Sain Singh Farswan’ (fondly called as and referred to as Sir Farswan in the fund raising campaign) is being admitted to the Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun (Uttarakhand). He is undergoing all the required tests and scan instructed by doctors and medical experts at Synergy to understand his current health condition and determine next course of treatment.

Following is the current findings by doctors:

• Extra ventricular obstructive hydrocephalus
• Cerebral atrophy with periventricular ischemic changes
• Right upper zone pneumonitis
• Increased bronchovesicular markings both lung fields

Next action suggested by doctors is Clinico-pathological correlation and Neurosurgeon consult. Patient’s family is also in touch with friends, and several medical experts who came forward because of the massive reach of Milaap’s fund-raising campaign, for a second opinion. Family of the patient is determined to find the best course of treatment suited for Sir Farswan (the patient) and will do the same.

The funds are being withdrawn to patient’s spouse, Mrs. Shanti Farswan’s bank account. Till date approx. 1 lakh has been utilized for the admission to the hospital, daily medicine bills, various tests guided by current doctors, scan instructed by current doctors. Based on the next course of treatment decided by doctors in consultation with the family, the remaining funds will be utilized towards patient’s treatment, recovery and well-being.
