The funds raised in the Run for Yuwa campaign have directly contributed to the salaries of Yuwa School's nine teachers and the 40 young coaches who lead Yuwa's football teams. After 10 months of coaches leading remote activities for their players, Yuwa resumed team practices in January. By March, we had a historic number of girls coming out to the daily practices: over 600!

Thanks to their commitment to helping Yuwa girls continue their education throughout the pandemic and creative innovations to overcome the challenges of distance learning, our students have had stellar attendance this year in spite of the obstacles.
100% of the funds raised in this campaign are going towards Yuwa School teacher salaries. Our incredible team of dedicated teachers are the backbone of Yuwa School.
