Dear Supporter
Thank you for being a part of our journey. We are excited to share that, in an attempt to bring the power of the arts to children in some of the remotest parts of our country, we have created a tech-based, interactive e-curriculum, Voice for All, which has been launched in Uttar Pradesh. It is accessible in regional languages, free of cost, and applicable in various contexts throughout the country. We have partnered with Pratham to spread these resources to rural areas, and our first theatre course has been launched in 950 villages. While this is a reason to celebrate we require your support and generosity to take Voice for All and our other projects forward.

In January 2019, 10 kids from Slam Out Loud were invited to Spoken Fest, India’s premier spoken word festival, where they performed for an audience of 10,000. While the children shared the stage with the likes of Jim Sarbh, Indian Ocean, and Alok Vaid Menon, they also facilitated a packed workshop for festival attendees. For many weeks after the festival, their performance garnered messages of appreciation by Spoken Fest attendees and performers alike.

We take immense joy in sharing that the third cohort of fellows for our flagship program, The Jijivisha Fellowship have been inducted and placed in 30 learning spaces across Delhi-NCR.

The diverse set of fellows are skilled in Theatre, Storytelling, Spoken word poetry and visual arts and will be using their arts to build life relevant skills and socio emotional learning in more than 1000 children through this year.

We are so grateful for all your support and look forward to an exciting year full of learning, ahead of us!

We also invite you to be a part of our workshops that happen across Delhi NCR and understand and participate the work our artists and children are doing. Write to us with an area preference and we would love to schedule a visit for you.

Lastly, we would love to catch up for a coffee and create space for us to talk more about our work and get to understand possible ways of collaboration. Write to us at contact@slamoutloud.com and we will get back to you.

Eternally Grateful,
Team Slam Out Loud
