Dear Supporters,

Here is an update on Santosh's health.

Santosh was able to successfully complete both the transplants at Yashoda hospital, Secunderabad on 14 Jan.

The operation lasted from 3:30 am to 4:00pm and he is in observation since then.

He will continue to take expensive medications/regular checkup to make sure body accepts the new organ. Will keep you posted on the progress of his health.

We would like to thank all the supporters who had helped so far in getting the transplant done.

Thank you for all the wonderful support that you have shown towards Santosh. He underwent the operation and it was completed successfully. He has undergone both liver and kidney transplants. He is good now and is able to speak as well.

The doctors have kept him under observation and based on his health and recovery he will be discharged from the hospital in about a weeks time. Thank you all once again for all the support you have shown towards him. Do pray for his health and speedy recovery.

Dear Supporters,

Here is an update on Santosh's health. He was diagnosed with a Chronic Liver ailment and was being treated for the same. The medication that he was taking for the liver ailment has taken a toll on his body. One kidney is functioning only to an extent of 20%. The doctors suggest that he will be needing to undergo a kidney transplant as well.

His mother's blood group matches with his blood group and she is willing to donate her liver and kidney. But the doctors suggest that it might be risky towards her health so he has registered himself with an organisation named Jeevandan to see if a cadaver donor or a donor is available.
