The pandemic rendered survivors with no option other than to surrender to their hardships as it affected the welfare of their families and themselves. They were forced to live on the bare minimum since the shutdown of 'Sheroes Hangout'- (a cafe run by acid attack). Their helplessness can turn this festival of light into darkness without your support.

We hope you are all doing well.

We would like to thank all our donors who have come forward to help our survivors in these tough times. We really appreciate your kind and generous contribution.

As most of you are aware that our Sheroes Hangout cafe has been shut down in many places due to this ongoing pandemic which has affected our staff. Most of our staff are Acid attack survivors who have gone through many challenges and pain in their life. And now the cafe which was supporting them has also been closed which have made their life more difficult and they could not support their families.

We like to inform our donors that the funds which we have collected so far have been used to support Sheroes Hangout staff which includes On-Board Survivors Salaries, their Rents & Utilities, Salaries, Sheroes Hangout Renovation, Medical Treatment (30 Survivors). And we would like to share a story of one of our Acid attack survivors Anshu Rajput needs your support to restore the happiness and health of several survivors, and restart her endeavor to help them overcome their adversities. Many survivors have been in deteriorated condition since the pandemic. Anshu and her position as 'Reach-out officer' at Chhanv Foundation prevented other acid attack survivors from giving up on life, but they are on the verge of reverting back to their misery.
The pandemic is ruining the lives of those who direly need her help, and is also traumatizing Anshu who feels shattered without being able to support other helpless souls. The rehabilitation and empowerment processes of Chhanv have also been affected and survivors are feeling as helpless as before.
