After receiving your emails we have decided to donate the funds to the NGO that took care of our Chhotu! We have also got the first vet bill (as I mentioned before we didn't have it because that day we didn't get it on paper, it was just added in the vets system) so every single rupee left will be used to buy food for various animals and will be donated to the NGO! I will keep you updated :)

Unfortunately, our little hero did not make it :( I am deeply saddened and hurt by his demise but, as all vets said, his case was extremely critical and there were high chances he would not survive the operation. I would like to thank once again the volunteers from Bird Helpline for fostering and taking care of Chhotu during the last days of his life, I am happy he felt loved before leaving this cruel world.

A big thank you once again to the donors for helping us, but at this point most of the funds raised for Chhotu cannot help him anymore :(
I was thinking to use the funds to buy cat/dog/bird food to donate to Bird Helpline, because they helped us and they turned out to be the only NGO worthy of being called so (among the ones we contacted).
Would like to hear from you guys what you think about my idea, I am open to suggestions!

Again, Chhotu you will always be remembered and loved, you were a real fighter and I hope that you are happy wherever you are now! I just wish I found you earlier :(

Dear Supporters,

Good news for Chhotu! The Bird Helpline sent their ambulance to take him today! They will foster him and give the medical attention he needs, we are very happy!!

After being treated they will give him back to us so please let us know if anybody would like to adopt him once he has recovered completely!

I would like to thank all the big hearted donors who are helping Chhotu and especially Aara Shah Bhansali for helping me so much since last night to arrange for this ambulance to come!
