Ashma didi's eyesight has improved. We had a brief chat with her over phone yesterday, She can move her hand also, although she is yet to become able to hold things or eat by hand.
We are transferring the last tranche of fund we could raise. This tranche came from her well-wishers overseas. Since this fund came as USD, we had to transfer it separately, following Milaap's system.

Dear Supporters,
Here is an update on Ashma's didi. Ashma didi's condition deteriorated in November 2017. She underwent another paralytic attack & and she could not see through her right eye. MRI & Angiogram of Brain had to be done. She was hospitalized for 9 days, and then discharged. Yesterday, she went to hospital again. A surgery in the brain has been suggested. But it is risky as Ashma didi has blood sugar.
The good news is that she can see through both eyes. Although cannot fully open her right eye. May God cure her pain.
We are transferring the funds raised for the treatment expenses. Thank you for your support and love. Regards

Staff members of Trickle Up India thank you for your contribution. Many of you were associated with TU while some were never associated. Thanks for caring about Asma didi. We also thank Milaap for enabling us to do this campaign.
We decided to give the raised fund to Asma in two installments. Roughly 50 % in each installment. The first installment is INR 23000/-. We uploaded some supporting documents as proof that the cause of the fundraising is genuine. We asked Asma didi to bring us more documents ( especially to show her expenditure towards Physiotherapy & medicine bill). We shall upload those when we transfer next installment.
Meantime, She is improving. She can walk with the support of a stick. Thanks to Physiotherapy support. Right leg & Right hand are still in paralytic condition. Please pray for her speedy recovery.
