Baby Abigail Wagh was diagnosed with Leukocoria with Retinoblastoma in Left Eye on 23rd May 2020 at KK Eye Institute Pune.

Baby Abigail underwent Radio-Diagnosis Scans at Inamdar Multispecialty Hospital, Pune.

Abigail underwent CSF & Bone Marrow Biopsy Examination at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai and S L Raheja Hospital, Mumbai which suggested No Spread of Cancer to Brain or Blood.

Baby Abigail received 06 cycles of chemotherapy at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital, Mumbai
Abigail simultaneously had Examination Under Anesthesia (EUA) and Cryotherapy at Narayana Health SRCC Children's Hospital Mumbai

Abigail had an Episode of Febrile Convulsion after the last (6th) Chemotherapy and was admitted in the Emergency Unit.
Abigail's tumor in the eye looked to be calcifying but the size of the tumor was unmanageable for Radiation or Laser Therapy. Baby Abigail had another USG B-Scan which determined the Size of the tumor after Chemotherapy.

Baby Abigail's Blood was sent for Genetic Exome RB1 Gene Testing to Medgenome Labs Ltd, Bengaluru. The Receipt and Reports are awaited. (10th November tentatively)

Abigail underwent EEG brain Scan/Test which showed some abnormalities in the report.
Abigail underwent an MRI Brain Scan to rule out the state of tumor after 06 cycles of chemotherapy.

Due to the tumor being large and not having complete calcification which was a potent threat to her life and there were chances for metastasis/spread, Abigail was taken up for Left Eye Removal/ Enucleation Surgery on 22nd October 2020 at Narayana Health's SRCC Children's Hospital, Mumbai.

Abigail Wagh's histopathology reports came 7 days after the surgery which stated that the tumor had not spread or affected to any other structure in the eye but 15% of the tumor was viable. Abigail does not require Post operative Chemotherapy and is recovering from the Wound/Surgery. An 18mm Implant has been placed in the socket and Abigail receives aseptic eye care daily.

Abigail will undergo an MRI Brain on 27th November 2020 and will require Examination Under Anesthesia on 3rd December for the measurement of socket for a Prosthetic Eye.

Abigail will be taken up for a Prosthetic Implant procedure in December.

Abigail will require monitoring by Examination Under Anesthesia of Right Eye every 03 Months up to the Age of 5 years.
Abigail will require an MRI Brain and USG B-Scan 1-2 Times a year and a replacement of Prosthetic Eye every 1-1.5 year up till Abigail reaches Adulthood.

Abigail presently is free from cancer and is recovering from all the complications associated with Chemotherapy and Surgery.

We want to earnestly and specially thank each and everyone who has helped us with the contribution, support, donations, prayers and faith.

We will never forget everything you have done for Abigail Wagh which has made her a Fighter and a Cancer Survivor at Age of 02.

May Abigail's Life and Journey be an inspiration to others, I Humbly Pray.
