Thank you so much for you are the reason for the success of this project.

All the works as promised and few other additional works that we took up accordingly are all complete except the drinking water. (For now, an alternative source of drinking water is arranged).

We have received the approval for the municipal water connection and have initiated the work but unfortunately, due to some local area issues, the work has been paused. The Tar road has to be dug now for the water pipeline to reach this school and this is being objected by the local people. We have been working on this for an alternative source and we are confident that we will be able to resolve this issue soon.

We will definitely update you all once the work is completed. Thank you all for your generous donations, support and patience.

We are happy to share that we are planning to take up two other Government schools now with similar major issues such as drinking water, handwashing unit, toilets, mould and fungus etc. and we request you to help us in our endeavours.

In order to resolve the mold and fungus issues in school, We have initiated the paintwork now. We are also working on the drinking water issue in parallel.

We are extremely happy to share the campaign's success with you. Please find attached the pictures of the works done.

Thank you for showing your support and commitment to Anarghya Foundation's projects and none of these works could be done without our amazing supporters like you.

Your donation has helped us build and gift the following to these young children ensuring basic Sanitation and Hygiene in school. We don't just construct and leave but instead we educate the children how to use and maintain hygiene while monitoring at regular intervals.

 1) Structured Urinals block for boys with 6 urinals, water facility, proper drainage system and  closed roof.

2) Wash basin for washing their hands after urinating.

3) A group Hand-washing unit with 9 taps for washing their hands specially before and after mid-day meals.

Additional needs/works:

1)Drinking Water: We regret to inform that the funds raised are insufficient to provide mineral water plant/water purifier.

2)Mold & Fungus: The school buildings are very old and are covered with mold and fungus. Whitewashing/painting the building would resolve the issue.

We are working to resolve these issues too very soon, so that there would be no more basic issues in this school. Earlier to this campaign we have renovated the dysfunctional black/chalk boards and also distributed footwear for all the kids who were otherwise coming to the school in barefoot.
