Dear All,

It has been a month since we asked for your help for getting course books for our children. We would like to thank everyone who supported this cause. We are glad to announce that because of you more than 31 students will receive the course books. However, more students are remaining. Until the time they all receive course books, we are making studies interesting for them by making them participate in quizzes and competitions and also involves them in extra curricular activities so that it becomes a school like environment. 

Currently they are sharing the books and studying. numbers of students are increasing because of our efforts. Their smiles are worth it and recently, it was a proud moment for us when we organised a parent's teachers meet and their parents told us that they have stopped sending their children to nearby small schools who are charging them a lot in the form of fee and other expenses. 

They are learning better with us and their children are now more courteous with their parents and can read books and papers which they could not a few months ago in spite of going to a school. It is important to mention here that students live in the jhuggi jhopri's and school they attend are not proper schools.
