Dear Supporters & Well-wishers

Thank you for your support and contribution, due to your donations and our collaboration with various partners and organizations Jan Sahas was able to support more than 10 lakh individuals in India under its COVID-19 Relief Response, during the first wave of COVID-19. Funds collected through this fundraiser had supported more than 300 families.

This year the horrifying second wave of COVID-19 and fresh lockdowns are further creating uncertainties and have aggravated the plight of already vulnerable migrant families. Now more than ever, we have to come together as fellow citizens and respond to this emergency. As per the current situation, we have identified 25K most vulnerable households and we aim to provide targeted support of dry ration, safety kit and emergency transportation. Help us in providing relief to those in need, contribute to our fundraiser and share the word.

Approximately INR 3,000 is required to support one family with dry ration and safety kit for 45 days. Even a contribution of Rs. 1,000 can provide 15 days of dry ration and safety kit to the most vulnerable communities in India.

Dear supporters and wellwishers,

The onset of a global pandemic caught people and countries the world over unaware. And while businesses suffered and certain industries were affected more than others, an entire section of our society was left stranded, without jobs, food or shelter - the migrant labourers.

In times like these, we saw people stepping up to help those in need - from providing basic necessities for survival to transportation services for them to reach their homes. However, just the sheer number of people working as migrant workers means it will take a lot more to ensure that every one of them gets the support they need and continue to do so till times are better.
Arthan continues to support Jan Sahas as their teams work on the ground to provide essentials and other relief measures to those who had to leave their homes to build ours.

An amount of INR 2600 can support a family (of 5) with food and safety material for a month.

We thank you for your support and urge you to help these families in any way you can - by donating or sharing this with your friends and family. Because we need to continue this fight against hardships and hunger. Let’s unite to support. Let’s unite to care.
Arthan is also launching an initiative - Building Civil Society Organisations of the Future - to bring together experts, thought leaders and practitioners from the Social Impact Sector with the aim of promoting dialogue and co-creating actionable solutions that can help make the lives of those we wish to better truly better.
