Thanks to every one of you who supported and shared our campaign. Our students have graduated from primary school and they will be mentored by regular teachers from the upcoming year.

Your help has gone a long way in supporting our students from building our library, in enrolling our students in competitions, in buying learning aids and printing worksheets. On behalf of the #TheLittlehumansOfCPSRangarajapuram, we thank you and hope you and your families are well and safe.

Thank you!

Dear Friends and Family,

Firstly, thank you for helping us give our kids better resources in classes and helping us access extra curricular activities and events. From  winning prizes  in a city wide student fest to facilitating math marathons in the class, your contribution has gone a long way in making our year more awesome.

Here is a sneak peak into what happened in term 2 and 3.
1. Math Marathon

A full day student led math solvathon where student leaders tutored their peers in solving math worksheets aligned to their grade level standards. More than 1400 questions were solved at the end of the day.

2. Librarians from Germany who were in Chennai for the Librarian Congress spent a day at CPS Rangarajapapuram helping us catalog the books and held story telling sessions for Children and Teachers.

Kids also spent some of their weekends in the Anna Centenary Library

3. CSK - Chennai Students Kondattam -is an Annual city wide literary, sports and cultural event where more than 30 schools and 3000 kids participated. Little Humans of Rangarajapuram won many prizes in various competitions like elocution, Drawing, 50 m dash, Pictionary, etc.

4.  Morning meetings - Constitution and social justice

The Constitution was the theme for the term and the lesson were integrated with values in the preamble. Some of the morning meetings had discussions about social issues and students were encouraged to discuss and express their thoughts.

Besides, Children have grown in their performance in Math and English and have been lauded by the BRTEs after the End of year SSA assessments.

Grade 3 ended with a graduation ceremony where Parents were called as chief guests and certificates and medals were awarded to all children based on their performance over the last two years.

My tenure as the teacher for the Little Humans of CPS Rangarajapuram has come to an end and Ms.Divya, a graduate from Christ University, has taken over as the new class teacher. We are setting up an after school community space where we intend to help kids with academic and other skills beyond school. The remaining funds will be used for this space.

Thank you again for supporting us over the last year and We hope you ll continue to do so in the year to come. We ll be more than happy to have you here if you want to visit either the class or the community space.

With Love and Gratitude,
Krishna
