Dear supporters

The dogs have been doing great. The bigger 10 kg dog food is for the dogs in the street. and the smaller 3 kg one is for the puppy KAIRA who we are trying to get adopted. That's the least we can do for the fosters who are keeping her till she gets a forever home. Hope she finds the perfect home soon.
and always ending any update with a THANK YOU. All this could not have been done without each one of you who donated. We had many ups and downs last year. But it didn't stop us and now we are completing 1 year of feeding 8-9 dogs every day. It feels overwhelming but it's the best feeling ever. I hope you guys are satisfied to see that your hard-earned money is being put to good use.
Thank you so much. Keep supporting and we shall never stop.

A few months ago..I raised funds for the spaying of dogs in my neighbourhood. We raised funds with the help of very kind souls. But then the Pinky incident happened which was a huge setback on the sterilisation drive. (Check out @goofy.singh on instagram for the whole story). Although I had stated that those funds would now be utilised for feeding of strays,I could not go for it. Instead I started buying dog food with my own money keeping the funds aside to actually use them for the mission i raised them for..that is the sterilisation drive.
It was the month of October when my first ever adopter Komal Takshak approached me for the sterilisation of a dog in her area. She stood up to look after the dog herself after the surgery. You hardly find such kind souls these days. I thought of utilising those funds on that dog...to use it for the purpose i asked you guys to donate for. JAAMUN went for the surgery today..unfortunately even after just having given birth to a litter less than two months ago..the doctor found 15 days old fetus due to which the blood flow to her uterus was more than usual..Incidents like this do not happen but it is science at the end of the day and we cannot fight what is natural..Had we been in a tier 1 city..we could do an ultrasound first and then go for the surgery but small cities do not have the facility. Hence we had to go into surgery after she had stopped lactating..The uterus could be removed but there was a 30% chance that she could not live if we took that step..the procedure was stopped and JAAMUN has now been taken back to Komal's home who will look after her for 7 days. She looks healthy and will be given proper diet to recover. The case has been explained in the doctor's prescription uploaded. We are facing a lot of challenges and the purpose was not fulfilled but we will not back down due to a few setbacks. There is nothing that hard work and perseverance can't overcome. All we need is collective effort and goodwill.
A huge thanks for Komal and her brother for taking the initiative and thank you to everyone who donated towards the cause. You guys have no idea how grateful we are.

Hi everyone,This is in relation to another purchase of a pure pet brand’s 20 kg dog food bought for the 9 dogs i feed. It costed me Rs 2000,the amount i had already withdrawn with the promise of uploading the invoice once food is purchased. Each one of them is doing fine. It’s just the exorbitant heat in this weather. I have also initiated one of the dog’s sterilisation surgery which is taking a little bit time but the update for it will be done as soon as she comes back home. Hoping to have her back healthy and happy. All this has been possible with the contributions that you guys have made and the dogs and I are so thankful to have you guys to support a cause that is bound to help more and more of animals in need. Thank you so much. Stay safe..stay home.
