Rangeen Khidki Foundation would like to thank all our supporters, well wishers and cheerleaders for helping us accomplish this.

We have so far reached more than 27,000 menstruators with close to 41,000 packets of sanitary pads(3,28,000 pads) in more than 30 areas with the help of more than 25 partners on ground.

Thank you once again for allowing us reach so many lives and contribute in making Menstrual Hygiene accessible to thousands of menstruators.

Our campaign has managed to spread a message loud and clear that menstrual hygiene is as important as food or any other necessities. Rangeen Khidki Foundation through this campaign has tried to drive home a point that periods do not stop in the times of pandemic or disasters. Menstruators should be able to have access to menstrual products to be able to bleed with dignity. With our campaign we have seen many organisation and well as citizen led initiatives to take note of this aspect and slowly starting to include pads in their relief kits. This makes us happy and although we know it is a long way to go before we attain our goal, but it’s a start nonetheless!!

Should you want to continue to support us further, we are reachable at reachus@rangeenkhidki.in for assistance and conversations!

Thanks and Regards

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your Support

#UnlockAccessInCrisis

As the lockdown was imposed, multiple efforts were put forward by the government to provide some relief to vulnerable and marginalized communities in terms of essential products as well as services.
A number of relief initiatives started functioning around this time led by individuals and collectives, and we didn’t come across many who covered menstruation as part of their work as well.

With lockdown, many menstruators lost the purchasing power to buy sanitary napkins, some could not access them because of restrictions of mobility and many of them faced scarcity of supply in their local store because of disrupted supplies.

This brought forth the attention that periods needed in the time of Lockdown and slowly we were approached by multiple partners who recognized the need to distribute sanitary napkins as part of their relief kits as well. While we were dealing with the COVID-19 crisis, on 20th May, Amphan struck, leaving behind a massive trail of destruction in West Bengal.

This was an additional crisis, we started working more rigorously towards our relief work and so far we have reached more than 22,000 women with over 3,00,000 sanitary napkins (reusables and disposables), 4000 soaps and underwears across areas like Kolkata, Malda, Siliguri, Behrampore, Kultali, Pathar Pratima, Rangabelia, Basanti, Raidighi, Jaynagar, Canning and many more.

We are continuing to work towards making pads accessible.
