Dear Supporters,

It’s been only a couple of days since I started this campaign to help Amlan fund his liver transplant surgery, and we are overwhelmed with the kind of support that has been extended by all of you already. Relatives, close friends, friends who I have not kept in touch for a long time or complete strangers who I haven’t met before, have all come forward to support. Thank you all. I have tried to reach out to all of you personally to express our gratitude on behalf of Amlan who is overjoyed by your support. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all anonymous supporters who I am unable to reach out to personally; we highly appreciate your support.

Amlan’s update: Amlan’s son Archito, who will be donating for his father’s liver transplant surgery, was detected with fatty liver during pre-transplant biopsy last time. He has been put on a restricted diet and medication to reduce this. As the family is arranging for funds for the surgery, Archito and his mother has left for Chennai yesterday (25th June) for the next round of pre-transplant tests and will be there until 30th June. We hope this time things will improve and all the test results will be fine as it is important that Archito is at his best physically for the surgery to be successful. I’ll keep updating you regarding the developments from time to time and hope you will also keep Amlan in your prayers.
