I am Debotri, a fellow at Milaap. Here is an update on Divyansh's health.
I spoke to his father, Anand, this morning. "Madam my child is doing better now. He was hospitalised since 22nd April 2017 and got discharged yesterday. He underwent 2 surgeries there. Currently, we are staying in a guest house in Hyderabad only and might have to stay for almost 2 weeks more", he said.
On 26th April, he underwent Cranioplasty- is a neurosurgical procedure designed to repair or reshape irregularities or imperfections in the skull. After this, he developed some forms of epilepsy and had to wait for a week to undergo the second surgery.
"We have almost spent 4 lakhs in the hospital and exhausted all that we had. I don't know how to save my child. He does not deserve to suffer from all this. Last September on his birthday he was in much pain. Almost a year passed by and what else can a mother ask for. Please pray for my child's recovery. Our daily expenses have come up to Rs 7000, half of it is his medical expenses", said Pragya.

Hello everyone. Here is an update on Divyansh’s condition.
As informed by his parents, they are in communication with hospitals in Nagpur as well as Hyderabad. He will undergo his surgery within two weeks.
Right now he is at home and is discharged from the hospital. Even though there is not a lot of drastic improvement in his brain activity, his father informs that there is improvement in his overall health.
Hi father says, “Divyansh feels better at home. It is a change of atmosphere from the hospital. His friends come and visit him and all the family members keep him company. I think that makes him feel better, internally. He has started eating a little and we feel he is getting better gradually.”
The family is praying for Divyansh’s recovery everyday and they are in conversations with doctors to finalize the date of the surgery.
