"Hello Dear Donors

First of all, I thank Almighty God for giving me such a wonderful day so can write a Thank you note down for all you wonderful generous people for coming forward to lend me a hand. A special thanks to all of you *Donors on Milaap* for their financial support and blessings and I heartily thank everyone who has helped me financially in my treatment and my most troubled time. I sincerely pray, may the Lord bless you a hundredfold for what you have extended to me and with happiness and fruitful life.

I'm glad to inform you that my treatment is successfully received so far. I was admitted on 22nd march, as per doctors advise I have undergone PET CT scan for finding the cancer cells (at lungs) and also two rounds of high - dose chemotherapy, and two rounds of bone- transplant, which was much required at that stage. It took nearly 80 days in at the Vydehi hospital in Bangalore.

My blood was removed and purified after that they started the transplant procedures and now treatment is over. Last month i came back home, doctors have advised me to take rest for minimum period of 4 months with Prescription Medications and weekly blood test is mandatory for observation and I've to undergo scanning once in two months. I am also told, that I may need further 9-10 months to recover completely.

After two months I would need to go to Bangalore for another round of scanning and other essential treatment. Please, continue to support me and pray for me.

Thank you once again

Dear Supporters,
I am Ankita from Milaap. Here is an update on Sunil's health.

Sunil is currently in Bangalore and will get admitted to Vydehi Hospital on Saturday. The treatment was not possible in Mangaluru, his hometown, as they did not have the facilities.

Currently, he has rented a place in Bangalore with his brother and cousins. The room charges are Rs 1000/day.

"I had frequent stomach pains. Initially, I just took medicine for it but when it did not stop so I went for a blood test and was diagnosed with cancer", he said when asked how did it start.

The first chemotherapy was done on 17th March and he developed an intestine infection. The translation process was delayed because of this. The next chemotherapy has been scheduled for 17th April and will happen every 5 days.

"There is a little weakness but no major side effects right now. The doctor said that I will need at least 2 cycles of Chemotherapy Translation", he said.
Sunil will need to stay in the hospital for 70 days to undergo the entire procedure after which he will need time to recover.

Thank you so much for the support. Please pray for his recovery and share the campaign with your family and friends.
