UPDATE as on 23rd May 2019:

Mr. Shiva's bonemarrow transplant was done in the first week of February and since then he is undergoing treatment on a regular basis and last week also he was in ICU of Apollo hospital for 2 days and Narayana Hrudayalaya for 4-5 days. Presently he is staying at a guest house near N. H. as advised by his doctor with his wife so that he can go to the hospital with in 5 minutes in case of emergency. More than 50 Lacs have been spent till now. We are still in need of funds and looking for support from all of you who have stood by us and supported us so far. Please continue to share and contribute as much as you can to help us.

Dear Supporters,

We had admitted Shiva once again on 28th January2019 at Narayana Hrudayalaya for bone marrow transplantation. He underwent several tests and checkups prior to the transplantation.

Yesterday they have collected the cells of his son Yashas for transplantation and have started the procedure today. This was possible only due to the unconditional help and support you have extended to him and his family.

He will be there in the hospital for at least 3 weeks. We hope and pray that he will come out fully cured.

We once again thank you for the whole hearted blessing and will keep all of you updated on the progress.

Dear Supporters,

Today, I write to you with a request; to come forward once again and help Shiva fight this for the second time.

Thank you for the wonderful support that you have shown towards Shiva. However, on 19th Dec, 2018, Shiva was diagnosed with a relapse and he needs a bone marrow transplant at the earliest. He has been in the hospital undergoing treatment since then. We have already spent around 9 lakhs since December. He may have to be in the hospital till the bone marrow transplant. The bone marrow transplant will cost 18 lakh rupees (estimate attached from the doctor).

It would mean the world to us, Shiva and his family if you could contribute to his treatment cost and back him up in this fight with Leukemia.  

During our campaign in  2017 when he was under treatment for Leukemia, your support helped  and he was discharged from the hospital fully cured in the month of July 2017. We had to spend Rs 16.00 lacs(approximately) during that period and without your support it would have not been possible.

I would request you to please share this campaign further with your friends and family to help us in raising funds faster towards his treatment. Do pray for his health and speedy recovery. Please find attached the letter from the doctor and a recent picture of Shiva with this update.
